On this page you will find details of working bearded collies that require new homes. If you are interested in one of these dogs please read the other pages on this site to make sure that this is the breed for you. Remember these dogs are usually here because they were sold into the wrong homes in the first place!

All homes will be vetted and home checked.

We have a 10 month old boy who is nervous of people and other dogs, probably due to lack of socialisation as a small puppy (see "Working Bearded Collies in your home"  page). Therefore he will need someone with some experience and lots of time to rehabilitate him. You will also need patience for this chap! I'm sure with a little help he will make a super dog for the right person. He has been kept somewhat isolated so therefore lacks the mental stimulation this breed requires. He is slate in colour and not neutered.

Also available is a 14 month old boy who has been left alone all day while his owner is at work, therefore unsurprisingly he is described as hyperactive! This chap doesn't appear to have any issues so would probably make a good agility dog, or maybe heelwork to music or even obedience. Border collie (or other high energy breeds) experience would be a good home for him.

Please don't think of taking on either of these boys if you are out for most of the day, they both need someone at home for them most of the time. I think after their bad start they deserve this!

These boys are being assessed and more information should be available shortly.

Both these dogs are currently residing in the north, but transport should be available to any part of the country.

If you are interested in one of these dogs then please contact via email:  tassietay@talk21.com.

Thank you for looking.
