Direct descendant (2nd generation) of Tom Muirhead's dogs
Here at Tassietay we have had Bearded Collies since 1975. We started in obedience with “Yager Isolda”, pet name Twiggy and have also done working tests, agility, sheep herding, pentathlons and breed showing with subsequent dogs. Click here to see the gang, past and present.
Our new venture is the “Working Bearded Collie”, all previous dogs have been from show lines. We are hoping to promote the working beardie for their original purpose of sheep and cattle work, as they are not really suitable as pets for the average home. Although they can make excellent obedience/agility/heelwork to music dogs in the right hands.
